Two of my paintings, Glowing Gaze and Silent Mind, were selected as finalists in the Figure & Portrait category of the TARTGET Painting Prize 2026.
This year’s edition received nearly 2,100 submissions from artists of 85 nationalities. From these, 500 works were selected as finalists by an international jury.
A further selection of 100 works was made for the exhibition at the Ateneo de Madrid, from 18 to 25 September 2026. Glowing Gaze and Silent Mind were not included in that final exhibition selection.
I’m pleased that both paintings reached the finalist stage in such a large international field.
